General rules for entering names
Enter all your first names exactly as they appear in your passport
Enter all your surnames exactly as in the passport
Do not use initials or abbreviations
Do not leave out any names
If you are getting married
Book the trip in the same name that will appear in your passport at the time of travel
If two passengers have the same name
If several passengers have identical first and last names (for example, father and son), you must enter a second first name for one of them to avoid confusion
About spacing and special characters
The booking system automatically removes spaces and punctuation between names
These will not appear on the ticket, and this is normal
International spelling of special letters
Some letters are automatically changed to match international airline standards. This follows the machine-readable line in passports:
Å becomes A or AA
Ä or Æ becomes AE
Ö or Ø becomes OE
Titles on flight tickets
Titles such as Mr, Ms or Mrs are added automatically based on the information you enter
These titles appear at the end of the name on the flight ticket
This is standard formatting and does not affect your booking or identification
