Your flight is delayed

If your flight is delayed by more than three hours, you may be entitled to compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004.

Whether compensation applies depends on several factors, including:

  • the reason for the delay

  • the airline operating the flight

  • the departure and arrival airports

Compensation is usually not granted if the delay is caused by extraordinary circumstances, such as extreme weather or air traffic control strikes.

For more details and to check your rights, we recommend visiting the airline’s website or contacting them directly.
